Chalet Candamo is a luxurious new 5-bedroom chalet conversion in the centre of Mürren, a traffic-free village at the heart of the Bernese Oberland offering spectacular views, reliable snow and uncrowded pistes for all age groups and abilities.

Perfectly placed for getting to and from the slopes, beside the village nursery slope and 20 metres from the nearest lift, the chalet is the ideal base for unforgettable ski holidays.  It works equally well for an active summer holiday spent exploring the mountains on foot, making excursions and relaxing in surroundings of incomparable beauty. Although primarily designed as a family holiday home, Chalet Candamo is available for rent during both winter and summer on a self-catered basis and includes all linen and an end-of-stay clean.

Chalet Candamo's location could not be better, plumb in the centre of Mürren with the nursery slope and Allmendhubel funicular on one side; supermarket, bank and ski hire shop on the other.

The chalet was completely refurbished in 2010 to offer spacious and luxurious accommodation, stylishly decorated and furnished, and intelligently designed for practical convenience and comfort.  There are five well-proportioned double bedrooms, plus a TV/computer room which can serve as the cook's bedroom if required; two bathrooms, two shower rooms, a separate WC, a laundry/drying room, an ample supply of hot water and a boot room with a drying rack.

Guests with an interest in skiing history will notice many touches of decorative detail recalling pre-War Mürren's historic role as one of the cradles of competitive Alpine skiing: old skis on the wall, old photographs, rooms named after old ski runs etc. You may even find a ski map on the bed, with the old names marked on it.

Outside, there is a small garden with views of The Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.
